OLIVIA PALERMO AND BOYFRIEND JOHANNES HUEBL AT LOUIS VUITTON IN MUNICH, GERMANY

Ever since model Olivia Palermo started dating her boyfriend, German model Johannes Huebl, the It girl has been spending a lot more time in Deutshland. Last time we spotted them, the fashionista couple skipped Paris Fashion Week to spend some time there. This time, they were in the south of Germany, Munich to be exact, at the opening of a new Louis Vuitton store. Definitely a Olivia-and-Johannes kind of event if we ever saw one.
Textures and handicrafts
Perhaps we should have expected it, but we still were saddened to see that Olivia was dressed much less colourfully than last time we saw her at an event celebrating the Maasai Collection for Pikolinos. She left behind beading for basketry, it seems, as her innovative dress for the Vuitton event was made with a fabric that seemed to reflect the weave of an easter basket. She seems to be a girl who likes handicrafts-- whether it is of the haute couture variety or intricate work done by Maasai artisans.
Happily, she knows how to wear outfits that are bold either for their colour or their design. She goes with a simple beauty look, pulling her hair back to let the fashion take centre stage and opting for very lowkey makeup. We've got a tutorial for one of her simple braided styles right here. As for makeup, if you want Olivia-style, go as minimal as possible... except for a small splurge in the blush department (to give yourself a healthy flush) and a dose of some glittery bronze eyeshadow.
In true fashionista style, Olivia couldn't stand being one hundred percent neutral... so she jazzed up her outfit with a splash of bright nail polish. We are sure that Johannes approved-- he is the guy who is ridiculously fond of orange jeans, after all.
